International Internet TurneringUdarbejdet lørdag d. 10. januar 2004 af Lene Jakobsen Invitation fra Korea til "1st International Baduk(Go, Weiqi) Club Championships".
To whom it may concern,
It is my pleasure to announce that we are holding the Dash International Baduk Club Championships from 2004. This competition will be held quarterly (every 3 months) throughout the year. The purpose of these championships is to promote friendly relations and mutual understanding between all Baduk players in the world. These championships will be held on the internet.(http://www.dashn.com/english)
First of all, I would like to express my gratitude towards the Club members of major European cities which are (in travel order): St. Petersburg, Munchen, Wien, Praha, Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris and Frankfurt that had shown their hospitality when I had visited them with my students last summer.
It will be an opportunity for the players (especially from Korean clubs) to meet foreigners for the first time on the internet site. Also, players can exchange opinions about their games and see what other countries baduk players think. It will open and widen their perspective and give them wider views about Baduk players from different countries.
And if you have any suggestions or proposals to make the championships more successful, they are more than welcome. With sincere new year greetings and warm regards from Korea,
Prof. Sang-Dae Hahn,
Organizer & Tournament Director,

Introduction of Dash & Dot com
Dashn.com was founded in 2000 as an internet Baduk(Go) site and grew as one of the major Baduk web sites in Korea. We have about 3 hundred thousand members as of December 2003. We offer about 500 commented games a year, including 5 commented professional games covering major Baduk events every week, 5 commented top-level amateur games played on Dashn or KGS every week, and occasional special topics about European and American Go tournaments.
The games are commented in detail. Many games contain more than 10 (sometimes more than 20) variation diagrams. Dashn.com also offers an interactive Baduk tutorial. With all the major aspects of Baduk playing included (such as the opening theory, joseki, midgame, fighting strategies, etc.), this is really a very comprehensive Baduk tutorial.
