INVITATION TO JOIN PANDANET GO EUROPEAN CUP 2007-2008

The EGF is proud to announce the new Pandanet Go European Cup for 2007-2008.

We are very happy that Pandanet can continue to sponsor what is the coming
together of the old European Go Tour and European Cup.

The calendar is still provisional and invites have been sent to the proposed
4 Pandanet Major and 6 Pandanet Super Tournaments for 2007-2008.

This leaves one vacancy for a Pandanet Super Tournament. We would like this
to go to one of the new developing countries in European Go who has never
had a European Go Tour event before. If you would like to be concidered
for this place then please send me details of your event by 1st April,
so that an invite can be issued to the selected event for acceptance by 6th
April.

Terms and Conditions

If you are invited and accept the conditions of joining the tour you will
receive:

- Prize money for top three places (150+100+50= 300 euro)
- 50 points to be awarded to the top 8 places (worth 300 euro)
- Broadcasting support money of 200 euro
- Tournament support money (free use) of 100 euro

This gives a total of 900 euro support towards the tournament,
of which you will receive 600 euro.

In return you will:

- Obey all the Pandanet Go European Cup rules then in force
- Appoint a referee certified or approved by the EGF Rules Commission
- Acknowledge your tournament as "part of the Pandanet Go European Cup"
- Advertise Pandanet by use of posters/flyers at the event
- Broadcast at least the top board of each round on Pandanet
- Provide a file or web page of results to the EGF immediately after the event
- Send reports, games and pictures of the event to pandanet@eurogofed.org

You will be required to fulfil these conditions and ensure that your
attendance is at least 40 players, otherwise you will not be selected
to be a Pandanet Super in future years.

You may promote yourself to level 4 (Pandanet Major) as long as you
fulfil the conditions for level 4 and fund all the additional cup costs
yourselves.

Any costs of broadcasting exceeding the amount granted must be paid
for by the tournament not EGF.

In addition other events that were formerly in the European Cup or that
would like to join in may do so at any point during the year (subject to
sufficient notice of the announcement of your event and the other Pandanet
Go European Cup regulations), at the levels 1 and 2 (24 and 50 points) as
previously within the Cup.
